Snowball

Snowball

Buffet had Kay and I have Sam, sure I am not Buffet but boy am I lucky! Always dreamed of a Kay Graham when I was reading through the pages of “Snowball”. Kay was great, she was powerful, she had influence and everybody loved her – Buffet was impressionable, eager, bright and destined for greatness. His teachings are right, thank God I idolized him.

Operate with a margin of safety,
have an inner scorecard,
stay within your circle of competence,
read books – any type of books,
boring is good,

you’ll never be rich if you’re normal
and always think long-term.

I am not exactly a millionaire but he was not one till 32. To my credit, I am surrounded by millionaires, I just have to put two and two together and stay on that wavelength and then I’ll get my first million. He had Benjamin Graham, that speeds things up. I am not Buffet, he was good with numbers, rational and an MBA graduate. I was horrible at maths, I lost a lot of money on Forex (pure speculation) and a University dropout. Still, facts are facts, Berkshire Hathaway was a mistake, he was emotional, he screwed the other guy because the other guy was trying to screw him, leading to a bad business decision. Berkshire was still a fading and failing textile business, he got played. Lemons to lemonade, he stripped Berkshire of its assets and kept it, altering its business model and practice.

Buffet had Kay and I have Sam, even the names roll easy on the tongue, I am blessed. Sam introduced me to high society and the best people in the world. I dreamed and fantasized about this when I was reading through the pages of Snowball. I am not Buffet, he had a great wife, two wonderful children and an established home. Yes, they stayed at his parents for a while but they eventually moved out. I just have “antakalipa”. There’s still a lot I have to get right, I am well behind. My Snowball is accumulating speed and mass.

Buffet had Kay and I have Sam, I love Sam like how Buffet loved Kay. I dreamed of this when I was paging through the pages of Snowball. Taught me “with great power comes great responsibility” a simple one, Ben Parker, a quote you take for granted when you are Peter Parker and one you never forget as “Spider-Man”!

As you turn 30, you lose confidence in yourself and ideas. The world even pushes you to the side, your spirit gets sucked out of your body, you become the labels society assigns, you become the accumulation of your past years. I worked hard to be the person that I wanted. I worked hard to be an individual. I chose my path, I walked alone. I never wanted to fit in a construct. I want my fate in my hands. I chose “antakalipa” to be what defines me. I will serve millions of people around the world, it’s my destiny. I’ve been following the teachings of Buffet since my 20’s and now my Snowball is a rolling boulder, gaining traction and momentum, becoming bigger in the process. It took a while, I am a value investor. There will come a time when I’ll be unstoppable. This has always been the plan.

Buffet had Kay and I have Sam, I dreamed about her as I was paging through Snowball. Warren Buffet by far, the biggest influence of my life.

Baywatch

Baywatch

I’m leaking out content, Imma be okay, sitting by the bay watching my influence compound, faster than the speed of sound, my greatness is bound. I am a creative mastermind. I am the best in the world. Classic like Converse, multifaceted and diverse. Most consistent, recurring like a nightmare that’s persistent. Best charisma, exuding presence and power like Alibaba without the Jack Ma. Swagger off the charts. Mr. Never Change and constantly expanding on these parts. I am consciousness, have the enthusiasm of Pamela Anderson on Baywatch, the body yelling Bae watch, tities voluptuous and bouncy you just gotta watch, stock increasing to surprise market watch. Listen, allocate your winnings in an investment that will double your principal, don’t just blow it, don’t change your lifestyle, for what, for who? Pink Cadillac’s aren’t recession proof, gold and art is. Real Estate, Stocks, Land and yourself is. Build something for yourself in the guise of a business. Flashing, that’s what got people killed in a Scorsese movie, splurging on mink coats like a newbie, I mean “what’s a matter with you”, carelessness is a vice and you’ll get what’s due, be prepared to meet your maker cause you on the queue, told you to keep it on the low now your future is doom. Be a Goodfella and take your time, delay gratification and you will ultimately flourish. Slow and steady, you’ll ultimately be rich. Compound interest brings everything together like a stitch and you’ll have the power to light up the world like a switch. Have quality, stay focused and avoid duality. Be diversified and wholesome. Be positive and positive things will happen, this is basic universal law, things slice at the swing of a sword, cause and effect, we are energies and we have an aura, we attract like-minded individuals in our maps. And well the same goes for negative energy too, if you fall you might not come back too soon. Choose wisely, educate yourself and stay on course. The fast lane will only make you a corpse. Keep on improving and make the best out of everything, ultimately it’s your thoughts that color in what you see. When you look at your life do you like what you see? Do you have quality? Do you have the stamina to stay on the frequency of your dreams. Ask yourself the right things. Understand what makes people tick, know the game of power. Elevate to the top with grace and never be sour, ensure the people on the ground are with you in all the hours. Then we win, everything is ours. Sitting by the bay watching my influence scale past towers.

Security Analysis

Security Analysis

I had extra thousands so I decided I wanted to ball so I went to the book store. I was looking for an extraordinary purchase. One of the greatest I have ever made. Like the one when I was 20, on my birthday, on a day I decided “You deserve it”! I bought the greatest book on Investing “The Intelligent Investor” by Benjamin Graham. I liked the color of the book. I liked the recommendation by Warren Buffet stating that it was the greatest book on Investing ever! I laughed a bit. What can I say? I liked the language. It’s positive. It’s affirmed. I added Jordon Belfort’s “The Wolf of Wall Street”. I saw the movie and I wanted the book. Congratulations to Martin Scorsese and Leonardo Di Caprio for delivering an absolute cinematic experience. The best movie when it came out! It’s a pure Martin Scorsese film. A prime example of excellence. Terrence Winter wrote a good script. It was funny, it was great. The actors, the cameras, the make-up, everyone well done! Topping the purchase and day is impossible unless if I chose another Benjamin Graham book. The first book that came to mind was… That’s right, “Securities Analysis”. That’s the only book that can beat “Intelligent Investor”. I went to the superstore in Sandton, saw the classic guys Robert Kiyosaki, Robin Williams, “Richest Man in Babylon” but no “Security Analysis”. I went to the front and asked to be assisted, the kind book store guy obliged. He checked on his system and still no “Security Analysis”. He checked inventory from other branches but still not “Security Analysis”. Look, it’s not really a problem, I have “Security Analysis” as an ebook, I just wanted something tangible this time around. This kind sir was not willing to give up and so he went to the internet inventory. And it come up from my screen that it was 1.6. I was happy with the evaluation. At least a thousand nigga! Especially if it’s going to change your life in a major way. This book can make your existence. Pay up a bit. I said “Oh, you have it in hardcover? He responded, “no, it’s in digital format. I looked at him with great pride and said, no that’s not necessary sir, I already have it in ebook format”. I then thanked him for his time and walked away. It felt good. It was a good day.
